She wrapped up quite warm and found all that she needed

To build up her snowman, without being impeded.

She made a big body with a large round snowball

And then rolled a snow head to make him quite tall.

And once she’d done that (though it took time to do)

She added on coal eyes and carrot nose too.

And then once it was done, just to top off,

She put on it the hat and a lovely wool scarf.

Mummy and Daddy came to see what she’d done

And voted her snowman their firm number one.

As night fell that evening and the moon shone so bright

The white garden sparkled, bathed in the moonlight

And she stared out of the window at her man made of snow

She thought to herself ‘only 10 days to go!’
